Due to the drought conditions, the Board of Directors have been working diligently researching options regarding lawns. At this time, the Board is NOT authorizing any xeriscaping or artificial turf lawns in order to be consistent with the Restrictions and Covenants.

This website will utilize a private "Forum" to provide website members (current residents/homeowners of Grassland Estates) to share their ideas, comments or questions.

Welcome

Grassland Estates is located in the northwest portion of the city of Midland, Texas. It is surrounded by three major thoroughfares, Wadley Ave., Loop 250 and Highway 191, for easy ingress and egress in the neighborhood. Two of Midland's finest public schools, Scharbauer Elementary and Abell Junior High are located in the neighborhood allowing walking distance to the schools from each residence. A well maintained City Park is nestled in the neighborhood and primarily used by Grassland Residents. Midland's premier residential subdivision consists of 566 residential lots lined with streets wider then the average city street. Family homes vary from approximately 2,100 to 5,000 square feet, with three or four car garages. Amenities provided by the subdivision Homeowners Association include a clubhouse, two large swimming pools and a wading pool.

Grassland Estates is governed by a Homeowners Association and membership is mandatory. Membership dues are currently $35.00 per month. The Homeowners Association is managed by an elected Board of Directors who meet on a monthly basis. All meetings are open to the public and your participation is welcome.
